What is Defensive Options?
Defensive Options, (DO) is an organization, headed by Tommy Gong, dedicated to the preservation of Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do®, the martial art developed by Bruce Lee, and the continual development of its individual members. DO's unique curriculum teaches personalized defensive training that is designed specifically to be practical, adaptable and effective.
The principles, skills and techniques from various training disciplines form a core of modern self-protection training. No matter what your level of experience, or your personal desires are for self defense, Defensive Options can specialize a program to meet your needs through an informal, well balanced training approach which focuses just as much on the development of the individual as much as the physical skills that go along with the training.
Who is Tommy Gong?
Tommy Gong is the Executive Director of Defensive Options. He is one of the first certified instructors in Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do® under Ted Wong in the early 1990’s. Gong had served as a Board of Director of the Jeet Kune Do Nucleus from 1996 to 2002 and is currently a Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Advisory Committee member to the Bruce Lee Foundation.
Tommy Gong is available for Beginning/Intermediate/Advanced Seminars/Workshops and Instructor Development Programs.
